SANNER'S LAKE SPORTSMEN'S CLUB |
The primary goal of SLSC is to foster and promote outdoor shooting sports, environmental and wildlife conservation, and public safety through education and other activities.
Matches are not the only events open to the public that we offer. One of our primary goals is education, and we also offer a variety of classes to the general public as well. Included in these are Women on Target, Personal Protection Inside/Outside the Home, National Rifle Association courses (which was founded to promote firearms education and marksmanship) including Pistol and Rifle Courses. SLSC also offers Maryland Handgun Qualification License courses, and many more. Please check our calendar for event dates and consider attending our matches and classes that are open to the public. We have many different disciplines and something to please just about everyone and every age.
The club became formally affiliated with the National Rifle Association on 31 March 1989. The Club is also affiliated with the National Shooting Sports Federation (NSSF), and the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP Affiliate #071155). Articles of incorporation were established on 26 April 1973, and while a non-profit organization, as of this time, SLSC is NOT tax-exempt.
SLSC has a non-discrimination policy in all of its programs and actively supports and sponsors outreach programs for economically disadvantaged youth, as well as supporting the Paralympics / Wounded-Warrior program for the shooting-sports.
Please complete the liability waiver for any and all guests you bring. Tear off the receipt (which must be carried by your guest at all times while on club grounds) and leave the completed top half of the form at a range, the clubhouse, or with the person in charge of the event you are attending.
If you are interested in becoming a member of SLSC, you can learn more about the process in our "Join Us/Membership Area."
