The aquatics at SLSC offer manmade ponds with swimmers beach, playground and plenty of fish. Rather it be catfish, bass, crappy or bluegill, we have some of the best fresh water fishing in Southern Maryland. This is the only freshwater swimmer’s beach in St. Mary’s county. This beach is surfaced with white sand and is buoyed off at a 6′ depth. No lifeguard is on duty and personnel must swim at their own risk. Children must be supervised by parents or guardians.
